Parents...when was the last time you talked about drinking to your son or daughter? Perhaps it hasn't been a topic that has arisen yet? Or are you worried about your teenager's behaviour but not sure about how to start the conversation? This website was designed to provide you a way to introduce the subject to your pre-teen and teen children; about alcohol, its effects and how it can be used responsibly according to guidelines issued by the Australian government. Your children will get more from the learning if you sit with them and review the educational component together.

Please note that this website contains Australian terms and Australian government guidelines that are relevant to Australian residents only.

The program contains six chapters which collectively teach: what alcohol is; how alcohol is made; what happens to alcohol in the body after it is consumed; the choices individuals have regarding consumption of alcohol; the effects of drinking alcohol on the body, government recommended drinking guidelines and the concept of a "standard drink"; and laws regarding drinking in each state and territory. Each chapter finishes with a short quiz on questions that highlight the major issues raised.
Play & Win is used to reinforce the learning delivered in the program. The Think team puts up new games periodically with similar score values. The games are simple to play but hard to master! After registering and logging-in, users can play the games and accumulate high scores by ‘rolling over’ scores gained from making consecutive plays. Each time a user finishes a game and elects to either accumulate the score with additional play or to pst the score to the scoreboard, they must first answer a question drawn from the Think program. An incorrect answer means the (total accumulated) score is lost.
